Services for Frances Luvena Hascall, 81, housewife of 1710 4th St., who died at her home Wednesday [November 9, 1966], will be at the Crippin and Daniels Chapel, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Gordon Milldrum will officiate, and burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Born in Decatur, Texas, Mrs. Hascall had resided in LaGrande for 33 years. Survivors include her husband, Maurice Eugene Hascall; one sister, Mrs. Clint T. Gould of Albuquerque, N.M., and several nieces and nephews. Hascall, Charles Daniel – Obituary

Charles Hascall of Pilot Rock died last night at home. He was 84 years of age and was born in 1837 near Syracuse, New York. At the age of three he moved with his parents to Vermont and remained there until 50 years of age after which he came to Pilot Rock. He is survived by four sons, Fred, Arthur, James, and Maurice Hascall, all of Pilot Rock, as well as 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services for Maurice E. Hascall, 85, retired merchant-farmer of LaGrande, who died Wednesday [November 16, 1966] at St. Joseph Hospital, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Crippin and Daniels Chapel.
