Biographical Sketch of S.E.H. Dance, M.D.

S. E. H. Dance, M. D., the leading physician of Lynchburg, Tennessee, was born March 30, 1834, son of Stephen M. and Sarah (Smith) Dance, born in Virginia and North Carolina, and died in 1853 and 1862, respectively, they came to Lincoln County about 1826. The father was a farmer of ordinary means and a local minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Biographical Sketch of Thomas P. Dance

THOMAS P. DANCE, Trenton, was born October 15, 1822, in Simpson County, Ky., where he grew to manhood. He removed to Logan County in 1850, and to Todd County, his present place of residence, in 1882. His father, Peter Dance, born in 1792 in Chesterfield County, Va., settled in Kentucky in 1816. He was a soldier in the war of 1812, and died in 1856. Biographical Sketch of F. M. Dance

F.M. Dance, attorney at law, was born in Wis. in 1838; moved to Missouri Valley, Ia., in 1868 and engaged in general law and real estate business. He graduated from the law department of the Ann Arbor University, in 1867.
