Biography of Clinton M. Cotterman

Clinton M. Cotterman, born on September 1, 1849, near Dayton, Ohio, has made significant contributions to the Anderson community through his market gardening and political involvement. The son of William Cotterman, a Civil War veteran, Clinton was raised on a farm and pursued various trades before settling on farming. After moving to Madison County in 1893 and later to Anderson, he established a business in truck farming. Married twice, he has one son, George, and has consistently supported the Republican Party throughout his life.
