Adolph Burmeister, vice president of the E. R. Hensel Steel & Copper Company, of St. Louis, has been a lifelong resident of this city. His father, Henry Burmeister, came from Germany to St. Louis in July, 1866. For a period of nine years he was in the wholesale shoe business; since then he has been in the produce business, becoming secretary of the Hofmann Brothers Produce Company.
