JOHN BROWN BIVIN was born December 2, 1828, in Muhlenburg County, Ky. He is a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Bivin. The father was a native of Maryland, and died in 1876, aged seventy-four. The mother was born in Virginia, and is now living with her son-in-law in this county. When about one year old, J.
