On last Sunday morning a memorial service, in honor of the memory of Miss Lizzie Miller, was held at the Presbyterian church.
There was a large attendance of the young friends of the deceased lady who had but a short time before mingled among them full of life and apparent happiness.
Rev. M. Parker, the paster, delivered an appropriate discourse taking as his subject “The Flowers of Immortality.”
