The death of Nimrod Hallgarth, occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. Blanchard, on the Flat, April 16.
Deceased was aged 83 years, 5 months and 5 days and was born in Indiana, in which state he resided until last fall, when he came to Oregon to visit his daughter, Mrs. Blanchard.
He leaves four sons to mourn his loss. The remains were interred in the Elgin cemetery.
