Bessie Flanagan, 67, of 805 Washington Ave., died Monday, Jan. 28, at her home.
Mrs. Flanagan was born Aug. 12, 1912 at Wilbur, Wash., the daughter of Oswald and Clara (Campbell) Scheibner. She married Aaron B. Flanagan on July 29, 1931 at Davenport, Wash. They moved to this area in 1938. Mr. Flanagan preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1967
Survivors include her sons, Roy Flanagan, Italy; Larry Flanagan, La Grande; daughters, June Wood and Katherine Moore, both of La Grande; brother, Carl Scheibner, Wilbur, Wash; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Services are scheduled Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Hart of the First Christian Church officiating. Vault internment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
