William W. Brickell

Private, Inf., Co. E, 30th Div., 119th Reg.; of Halifax County, N.C.; born Oct. 6, 1886. Son of R. B. Brickell and Mrs. Rena Brickell. Entered service Sept. 24, 1917, at Camp Jackson. Transferred to Camp Sevier, S. C., then to Camp Mills, N. J. Wounded severely in arm and leg at the Battle of Somme Oct. 17, 1918. Died British Hospital, France, Oct. 17, 1918. Buried at Roisel, France.
