1st Class Private, 64th Heavy Artly., Btry. A. Born in Nash County; the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Moore. Entered the service Feb. 26, 1917, at Raleigh, N.C. Was sent to Ft. Scriven, Ga., then to Camp Upton, N. Y. Sailed for France Aug. 1, 1917. Fought at Metz. Returned to the USA Feb. 24, 1919. Mustered out at Ft. Eustis, Va., March 26, 1919.
