Jennie, daughter of Pink and Susie Allen was born near Claremore March 1, 1888 educated at Justice public school. Married Oct. 28, 1902 John, son of John and Mary P. (Herd) Sortore. They are the parents of: Mabel Clair, born March 14, 1904 and Minnie Carmel Sortore, born September 4, 1907. Mr. and Mrs. Sortore are members of the Christian Church and are farmers, near Claremore. Mr. Sortore who is by profession an engineer is a member of the Woodmen of the World fraternity.

(See Ward and Downing) Jimmie Abercrombie, daughter of James Abercrombie and Lucy Ann (Clerk) Duncan, was born near Afton October 30, 1879. She married in Kansas City October 22, 1919, Dr. Alonzo C., son of Joshawa and Martha Forsythe Render, born August 8, 1876 in Louisville, Logansport Co., Ky. He was educated in Louisville Ky. and is a graduate from Northwestern University, Chicago. Dr. and Mrs. Render are members of the South Methodist church, and he belongs to the Masonic fraternity.

Biographical Sketch of R. D. Richards

(See Grant) Mary, daughter of John W. and Ellen (Thompson) Wilson, was born January 2, 1857, and married July 1, 1875 Willis Taylor Richards, born June 6, 1847 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. He served in Company B, 46th Texas Infantry in the Confederate Service. He was elected a member of Council from Tahlequah District in 1903. They are the parents of Roderick Dhu Richards, born July 5, 1884, and graduated from the Male Seminary June 10, 1903. He married Grace Roper Wallace who graduated from the Female Seminary on June 9, 1903.

(See Ghigau) Samuel John, son of Edward Estel and Naomi Ann (Cole) Sloan, born March 1, 1889, educated at Vinita. Married at Vinita October 13, 1908 Ruth, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth McKissick. They are the parents of: Samuel Floyd, born July 3, 1909 and Charles Herbert Sloan, born March 3, 1916. Mr. Sloan is an electrician, but is at present farming near Big Cabin. Deborah Starr, married Richard Newland and William Harvey Sloan. Her son Edward Estel Sloan married Naomi Ann Cole and they are the parents of Samuel John Sloan.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Nicholson are the parents of Roy Preston born July 18, 1903; Edgar Russel born December 7, 1905, and Hattie Nicholson born September 15, 1907.
