Virgil Pratt Dies
Funeral Services Tuesday in Wallowa Cemetery
From the late home of Virgil Pratt, on Tuesday his friends and neighbors departed with the last earthly remains of one who had became very dear to them. He has suffered for many months from an incurable disease.
He had but recently returned from La Grande where he had interview the most eminent physicians.
Mr Pratt was well known through out this section and has made his home on Bear Creek his permanent abode for many years.
The interment took place Tuesday of this week and was conducted by J. W. Kern, Pastor of the M. E. church.
Pr. Pratt was born Mar. 7, 1855 in Knox County, Missouri.
He leaves a wife, son, six brothers and one sister.
