Biography of Myron James Farr

Myron James Farr, born December 2, 1861, in Windham, Vermont, was the son of James L. and Mary Hortensia Stiles Farr. After completing his education, he ventured into farming and dairying before partnering with his father-in-law in a lumber business. In 1899, he joined the Franklin County Lumber Company, serving for 23 years. An active community member, Farr was elected selectman and contributed to his church. He married Lizzie Mabel Burnham in 1888, with whom he had five children, shaping a legacy in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
