Mozell Bracken, 92, of Baker City, died Jan. 31, 2005, at her home with all of her six surviving children at her side. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St. Pastor Bill Cox of McEwen Bible Fellowship will officiate. Vault interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. G. M. Calvert was raised in Williamson County, Illinois. He came to the state of Texas when he was a young man, in the year 1854. Finally, after traveling almost across the American Continent, he returned to Illinois and married Miss Sophia Woodul in the year 1857. Funeral services for Joseph R. Culley, 56, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 24 at the Langrell Nortuary Chapel. The Rev. James H. Soden of the Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mr. Culley was born August 24, 1911 at Herrin, Illinois had his schooling in Illinois and was a veteran of World War II.
