Samuel Armor a Supervisor of Orange County from the fourth district, came to California in 1874, and located on a fruit-farm, giving what time he could spare from the ranch to the carpenter trade. He subsequently taught school in Orange for three and one-half years; then clerked in a store, and five years ago began the mercantile business in his own name.
