Biography of William O. Worswick

William O. Worswick, born in 1864 in Wisconsin, was a notable lawyer and former county attorney of Jefferson County, Kansas. He initially worked as a teacher and engaged in mercantile business before becoming a member of the Oskaloosa bar in 1897. From 1909 to 1913, he served as county attorney and continues to hold the position of city attorney. A descendant of a distinguished English lineage, he is actively involved in local fraternal organizations and the Episcopal Church. Worswick married Alice Howland, an accomplished educator and artist.

Taylor, Emma Augusta Abraham – Obituary

Mrs. Frank (Emma Augusta) Taylor, Sr. passed away on December 24, 1967, at Kittitas Valley Memorial Hospital. A resident of Ellensburg for over 60 years, she was born in West Bloomfield, Wisconsin, and raised in Orange, California. After moving to Ellensburg with her family in 1900, she married Frank Taylor, Sr. in 1905. Except for a seven-year period in California, she lived in Ellensburg, where her husband predeceased her in 1943. Funeral services will occur on December 28 at Evanson Funeral Home.
