Cooke, Loise Mae Yocom – Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Yocum [Loise Yocom] Cooke, 86, pioneer resident of the Colockum and the Wenatchee Valley, will be held from the Jones and Jones Chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Wenatchee Cemetery. R. E. Patterson will sing, with Miss Carolyn Sterling at the organ. The following will serve as pallbearers: Gordon Cooke, Ed Ingersoll, Tom Goodwin, Rex Shamley, Porter Yocum, and Ben Yocum. Mrs. Cooke died in a Bellingham Hospital Tuesday following a short illness. Sarah J. Fisher Pioneer, Passes On Here Today Sarah J. Fisher died about 1:30 o’clock this morning at 1501 U avenue. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Summerville chapel. The body was taken to the Snodgrass and Zimmerman mortuary. Mrs. Fisher, born in Sullivan county, Missouri, March 2, 1859, was 77 years, 11 months and seven days of age, and was among the early pioneers of Oregon.
