William (Bill) Frank Goebel, a lifetime resident of Wallowa, Oregon died May 12, 1982, at his home. He was 87. Born Sept. 9, 1894 in Wallowa, he was the son of Peter and Gertrude Anna (Huber) Goebel. As a young man he became a trained mechanic for Ford motorcars. With the declaration of World War I he joined the Army. Upon his return he married Annetta B.
