Funeral services were held for Murland Edwin Waelty Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m., at the Bollman Funeral chapel in Enterprise. Mr. Waelty died at the Grand Ronde hospital in La Grande March 26, 1959, following a long illness. He was born at Summerville, Oregon, March 10, 1888, the son of Albert and Minnie Waelty. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon E.R. Bowelby Passes after Long Illness Enoch R. Bowlby died at the Enterprise hospital Saturday evening, Sept. 24, 1938. He had not been well for several years and for some 12 months past had been failing steadily. Funeral services were held Monday at the Booth chapel, conducted by Rev. Paul C. Cramblit. Troy, Wallowa County, Oregon Ray C. Hester, who was engaged in stock raising at Troy a few years beginning in 1918, died at Pendleton Monday after a short illness. He was born at Emmetsburg, Iowa, 54 years ago, and the family moved to Lewiston, Idaho in 1904. Susan D. Forbes died Friday at 11 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Warden. She came to Enterprise last July to make her home with her daughter. A succession of colds and the rigor of winter proved more than her frail body could endure and she succumbed to a bronchial attack quite suddenly. Mrs. Forbes was born in Ohio in 1835 and died in Enterprise, Oregon April 4, 1919. She was married to W. I.
