Margaret Francis Golden, 2201 Orodell Blvd., died Friday at Valley View manor. She was 90. Mrs. Golden was born Oct. 31, 1892, at Summerville to Charles and Mary (Childers) Duggan. On Oct. 31, 1915 she married John Golden at Summerville. He preceded her in death in July 1945. In 1919, Mrs. Golden and her family moved to Portland and lived there until they returned to La Grande in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of the La Grande United Methodist Church. Mrs. B.T. Long received word Thursday evening of the death of her father, P. L. Courtney at Payette, Idaho and left for that place Friday. M. O. Courtney of Lostine accompanied her. P. L. Mrs. Baker was born Jan. 20, 1898, at Pendleton, to Alexander and Mary Alice (Cargill) Hudson. On July 1, 1920, she married Ray Orien Baker. He died on January 14, 1975.
