Paradise, Wallowa County, Oregon Johnny D. Ralls, son of J. W. and Mary A. Ralls, was born in Knox Co., Missouri, May 1, 1885 and died in Paradise, Oregon, June 7, 1903 at the age of 18 years, 1 month and 6 days. He suffered intensely for about 8 days. The deceased was a kind, affectionate and obedient son. The family has the sympathy of the entire community in it’s bereavement. Paradise, Wallowa County, Oregon Clifford Applegate, 51 year-old Umatilla carpenter, died here today at the home of his sister, Mrs. Merton Kuhn, following a brief illness. A native of Paradise, Ore., and a former resident of Wallowa county, Applegate had resided for the last three and one half years in Umatilla. William H. Pullen is one of the prominent men of Malheur County, being both a successful business man and property owner and popular County official. He was born in Illinois, on March 1, 1845, being the son of William and Mary (Weils) Pullen, natives respectively of Pennsylvania and Liverpool.
