Mr. Plump never wavered from his belief that the town of his birth was destined to become a thriving commercial city. Mrs. Osie Deshaver Died Last Week In California Mrs. A. Willis last week received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Osie Deshaver at Oakland, Calif., which occurred January 6. Mrs. Deshaver was 26 years of age. She was a former resident of this section where she spent practically all her life. Her husband Lester Deshaver and two children Ruth, 8 and Roger, 5, survive. Nelson Genealogy William Nelson, an early comer to Plymouth, before 1636, had land granted him Aug. 3, 1640, and was among those able to bear arms in 1643. He was juryman in 1648. He was probably among the first settlers of Middleboro, although it is impossible to state when he went from Plymouth to Middleboro, or how long he lived there. Former Imbler resident Bessie G. Ruckman died May 3 in Oakland, Calif. She was 81. Mrs. Ruckman was born Nov 4, 1903, in Jackson, Mo., to Thomas and Sophronia Kasinger. She and her family moved to Imbler in 1912. She married Virgil Audmer Ruckman of Alicel on June 10, 1922. In 1924, the couple moved to Oakland.
