Alan James “Jim” Hermsen, 75, of Baker City, died Aug. 3, 2005, at his home in the presence of his loving wife, Lucille. His funeral was Monday at the Agape Christian Center. Pastor Garth Johnson officiated. Jim was born on Nov. 10, 1929, at Baker City to Alban and Mae Hermsen. He attended Brooklyn Elementary School at Baker City and then moved to Union.
