Killed By Falling Tree A former resident of Wallowa county, Fancho Stubblefield, lives at Lehman Springs, 90 miles south of Pendleton, where one man was killed and another seriously injured by a falling tree Saturday night. The two were cutting wood for Mr. Stubblefield and slept in a bunk house, which was crushed by the tree. Oliver Young was killed and Vic McCormick was injured.
