Everett M. Lyon Everett M Lyon, 83, died April 9 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Mount Vernon, Mo. A private service for burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in La Grande. Mr. Lyon was born May 20, 1923, in Wallace, Idaho, one of 13 children. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Leavenworth, Wash., where he lived until he graduated from high school and married the love of his life, Esther Bates, whom he met at a roller rink.
