Raymond Alton “Ray” Morin, 74, of Baker City died Feb. 23, 2006, at his home. At his request, there will be no service. In the spring, his family and friends will gather to celebrate his life. Ray was born on Dec. 8, 1931, at Kellogg, Idaho. The family later moved to Oregon where he resided the rest of his life. Ray loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and panning for gold. Baker City, Oregon Arnold Eugene “Arnie” Fleetwood, 69, of Baker City, died Dec. 6, 2002. At his request, there will be no services, and he will be interred with his son, Mike. Arnie was born Jan. 2, 1933, to George William and Ruth Marie McGragh Fleetwood in Omaha, Neb. He was raised in orphanages most all of his youth, but received an education and graduated in Omaha. Doyle Glenn Densley, 78, of Baker City died Feb. 10, 2006, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise from complications of a head injury. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave. There will be a graveside serve at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland. Pastor Ralph Holcomb of the Baker City Christian Church will officiate. Jeremiah John Miller – Obituary

Medical Springs, Oregon Jeremiah John Miller, 81, a longtime Medical Springs resident, died Dec. 5, 2001, at his home. There will be a memorial service later. Jeremiah was born at Baxter Springs, Kan., where he grew up on his grandmother’s farm. He graduated from Joplin High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, which took him to Randolph Field at San Antonio, Texas. There he met and fell in love with Adeline Kosharek. They were married on July 1, 1940, and spent 27 years in the U.S. Air Force where his career was in aircraft maintenance and engineering. … Read more
