La Grande, Oregon Myrtle Geneva Christopher, 88, of La Grande, died Aug. 14 at a local care center. At her request there will be no public services. Daniels Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements. Myrtle was born on Nov. 15, 1918, to Jasper and America Selby in Comanche, Okla. She began school in Oklahoma and finished in Los Angeles. She worked for Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica, Calif., as an inspector until her retirement. On July 21, 1956, she married Gordon Woodrow Christopher. William Patton “Bub” Witham, 60, a former Baker City resident, died April 4, 2006, at Kingman, Ariz. He was born to Fred and Eve Witham on Nov. 8, 1946. He was one of three children in the family, which also includes an older sister, Merrillee of Sparks, Nev., and Bob of Spokane, Wash. He attended Brooklyn Elementary School and was a 1964 Baker High School graduate. He attended Eastern Oregon College (now Eastern Oregon University) at La Grande. Miller, Hudson Linden – Obituary

Hudson Linden Miller, 84, of Dolan Springs, Ariz., died Feb. 8, 2005, in Kingman, Ariz., of congestive heart failure. His funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, 2625 Hughes Lane in Baker City. Bishop Tom Brock of Baker Valley Ward will conduct the service.
