J.M. Burnside Passes, Was In Haines 45 Years Widow, Two Daughters Among Those Who Mourn Passing. Rites Held. Ill health, which 10 days ago necessitated his removal to a Baker hospital, at 7 o’clock Monday evening claimed the life of John Mathew Burnside well-known in the Haines Community for the past 45 years and an old-time farmer there. Funeral rites will be held from the local Methodist church at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Thursday. The body will be laid to rest in the Haines cemetery.
