Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brusie Funeral Home for Hazel E. Bathurst, 69, a former Chico resident who died in McKinleyville Thursday [November 23, 1972]. Services will also be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Paul’s McKinleyville Chapel. She was born in Gaston, Ore., Jan 16, 1903, and came to Chico as a child. She was in business here for many years and then for 25 years at Clam Beach and later in McKinleyville. She is survived by her husband, A.
