Biography of Louis J. Licht

Louis J. Licht, born on September 2, 1862, in East Williamsburg, Long Island, is the secretary and treasurer of a prominent cereal manufacturing company in Geneva, New York. He is of German descent, with his father, Frederick Licht, having been an inventor in the cereal industry. Louis began his career at the Brooklyn Sugar Refining Company before establishing his own business in Brooklyn and relocating to Geneva in 1888. He has served on the board of public works and is active in various fraternal organizations. He married Carrie E. Galloup in 1889 and has two children.
