Biographical Sketch of Mrs. Tirzah B. McMillen

Mrs. Tirzah B. McMillen, born in 1832 in Clermont County, Ohio, moved with her family to Cincinnati and then to Indiana before settling in Oregon in 1851. She married James H. McMillen that same year in Portland and established their home on Tualatin Plains, where they raised six children. The family later relocated to Oswego in 1861, experiencing the loss of several children. Currently, her family resides in East Portland, Oregon, where she is remembered for her contributions to the community.
