Kennedy, W. F. – Obituary

Mrs. G.L. Keller has received word of the death of her father, W. F. Kennedy, at Nelson, Washington; which occurred on December 19, ultimo, after a brief illness. Mr. Kennedy is reported to be an owner in valuable silver mines in Washington and British Columbia. Mrs. Keller is the only child. Cove Ledger Thursday January 12, 1899

La Grande, Union County, Oregon Nettie Conley of La Grande died Wednesday at the La Grande Nursing Center just 25 days short of her 100th birthday. Born Sept. 8, 1885, near La Grande, Mrs. Conley was the daughter of Charles and Martha (Childers) Golden. The Childers were a pioneer family who came to the valley in 1863 in a covered wagon. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon The death of Mrs. Emma Rundall Fisher occurred at a LaGrande hospital to which she was rushed from her home in Enterprise, after a severe illness of long duration which required an operation from which she did not recover. Mr. Gibson was born in Cove in 1890 and received his education in the Cove school. He was married Aug. 5, 1912 to Nellie Glassen of Elgin. JOHN T. JEWELL. – Mr. Jewell is a member of the Cove Dairy Company. He is a native of Indiana, having been born in that state in 1836. La Grande, Oregon Dale Lester Miller, 66, died June 13 at Grande Ronde Hospital. A celebration of life will begin at noon Saturday at the Union Sportsmen’s Club.
