Biography of Selden B. Kingsbury

Selden B. Kingsbury, born on October 29, 1842, in Ohio, has practiced law in Idaho for eighteen years, residing in Boise. A Civil War veteran, he served with the Seventh Ohio Volunteer Infantry and was captured and imprisoned before returning to education and law. Hoffman, Ward John – Obituary

Ward J. Hoffman, 86, of Fremont, passed away on March 2, 1990, at Mahaska Manor in Oskaloosa. Born on December 3, 1903, in Constantine, Michigan, he moved to Iowa in 1913. He married Merle Phillippe in 1929, who predeceased him in 1989. A farmer and member of the Fremont United Methodist Church, he is survived by his son, Willis, three grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law. Funeral services are scheduled for March 4, 1990, with a private graveside service to follow.
