Helen Margaret Rogers, 85, of Baker City, died March 29, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Care Center. There will be a gathering of friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sunridge Inn, 1 Sunridge Lane. Visitations will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave. Helen was born on Oct. 25, 1922, at Nucla, Colo., to John A. and Margaret Biglin Galley. Baker City, Baker County, Oregon Billy L. Miller, 79, of Clackamas, a former Baker City resident, died April 2, 2006. His memorial service was Saturday at the Milwaukie Senior Center. Inurnment will be later at Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Miller was born on July 27, 1926, at Baker City. He attended Baker High School, leaving to join the U.S. Navy. He served as a seaman second class on the USS Richmond. He married Iris M. McKinney on May 1, 1947, at Baker City. She died in 1994. The family moved to Milwaukie from the Baker City area in 1970. Augusta Pauline Page, 87, a former Baker City resident, died April 20, 2008, at the Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital in Clackamas. At her request, there was no service. Her ashes will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery Friday alongside her husband, Jim, and her mother, Florence. Robert “Bob” Jack, 88, a former longtime Baker City resident, died March 25, 2008, at Clackamas. Bob was born on Dec. 25, 1919, at Baker City. He was a 1938 Baker High School and worked at the mill in Pondosa out of high school. He was a member of the Oregon Army National Guard. He enlisted on May 27, 1941, with Company F 2nd Battalion, 186th Infantry Regiment, 41st Infantry Division during World War II. On Jan. 24, 1942, at Fort Lewis, Wash., he married Lola A.
