Miller, Billy L. – Obituary

Billy L. Miller, 79, formerly of Baker City, passed away on April 2, 2006, in Clackamas. Born on July 27, 1926, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later worked for Smurfit Lumber Co. for two decades. He married Iris M. McKinney in 1947, who predeceased him. The family relocated to Milwaukie in 1970. He is survived by four children, a sister, two brothers, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions are suggested for the Milwaukie Senior Center.

Mrs. Evelyn Witham Grant – Obituary

Evelyn Witham Grant, aged 90, passed away on October 8, 2002, in Clackamas. A memorial service was held on October 15 at Zeller Chapel of the Roses, with interment at Willamette National Cemetery. Born on November 26, 1911, in Baker City, she graduated from Baker High School in 1929 and worked for J.C. Penney. She married W. C. Grant in 1941 and contributed to the war effort during World War II. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Mary, son Jim, and two brothers.
