Jones, Herbert Kenneth – Obituary
Herbert Kenneth Jones, 74, of Baker City, died Jan. 4, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Health Services. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. Herbert moved to Baker City 12 years ago with his wife, who died on Nov. 19, 2005. He missed her very much. Herbert was born on June 21, 1931, at Damon, Texas. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1949 when he was 18, and spent the next 14 years serving his country. After the military, he worked as a technician and repaired televisions for many years.
