Baker City, Oregon Gladys Ruby Quimby, 90, and a former Baker City resident died Oct. 18, 2003. A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, 3 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Reno, Nev. Allen Wiebe, Gladys’s son-in-law was the speaker. Mrs. Quimby was born in Upton, Wyo., to John and Mary (Canfield) Busby on Jan. 9, 1913. She was the sixth of 11 children.
