There was a reception afterward at the Baker City Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall, 1250 Hughes Lane. Marty was born on Sept. 27, 1932, at Northampton County, Pa., to Paul M. and Ruth O. She enjoyed many careers in her lifetime, some of which included working as a computer operator, phone system administrator, elementary school secretary and nurses assistant.
