Aged Foreman Of Mines Dead Thomas Taggart, for many years foreman of the Baisley mine near Baker some several years ago died Sunday at the home of his son, George W. Taggart at Woodland, Washington, according to a telegram received by relatives in Baker. Mr. Taggart was a native of Illinois. He came to Baker county from the east 45 years ago and lived in the vicinity of Baker until last fall. He was about 72 years of age.
