Baker City, Baker County, Oregon Karen Lei Yost, 55, died Feb. 3, 2006, after a long battle with ovarian cancer. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in Salem with a graveside service and burial in Hawaii, where she was born and raised. Cremation is under the direction of Golden’s Mortuary of Salem. Survivors include her husband, Jim; her son, Russell; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glenn and Bev Hescock of Baker City; and two brothers and a sister, who live at Hilo, Hawaii.
