Jerry Peters of the Union United Methodist Church will officiate. Mr. Hooker was born Jan. 15, 1910, at Cleveland, Wash., to Joseph J. Hooker and Emma Selinda Fletcher Hooker. Joseph, Oregon Jeri Clarneau Daggett died peacefully April 11, 2007, at Clarkston, Wash. She was 68. Mrs. Daggett was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Asotin, Wash. to Glen and Ella Williamson Clerneau. She married Ervin Daggett on Oct. 20, 1963 in Joseph. On Nov. 12, 1968, their son Eddie Daggett was born. Mrs. Daggett lived most of her life in Asotin County in Washington. She sold Avon for years and volunteered hours helping in her community. The last several years she served as vice president and supervisor of the New Hope Food Bank in Clarkston. T. S. Tibbet Imnaha, Oregon Mrs. S.T. Tippet returned Saturday from Asotin, Wash. where she was called by the death of her son’s wife, Mrs. T. S. Tibbet (sic), on May 12th. She brought home with her the youngest of the four children who where left motherless by this sad event. The mother had been failing health for about a year and they had left their home on the Imnaha last fall to spend the winter in Arizona in hopes of benefiting her; but came back to Asotin seven weeks preceding her death. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Stella May Hammack, 96, of Pendleton, died Jan. 13, 2003. She was born March 08, 1906, in Cold Springs to Augustus and Eliza Thompson Stumbaugh. Mrs. Hammack grew up in the Asotin and Imnaha areas. She and her mother often acted as house sitters for homesteaders along the Snake River and as a teenager she worked as a cook in sheep camps and on cattle ranches. Joseph, Oregon Dr. Robert Neil Blackburn, 77, of Cushing, Okla., and formerly of Joseph died July 27. Dr. Blackburn was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Cushing, Okla. He served as a jet fighter pilot in the Korean War and taught other pilots how to fly by instrument. After leaving the military, he graduated from medical school at the University of Oklahoma, and served his residency at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane.
