Biography of Eugene L. Ford
Eugene L. Ford, born in Wayne County, Indiana, in 1852, has spent nearly sixty years in Madison County, where he has established a notable farm in Green Township. The son of John W. and Martha A. Williamson Ford, he grew up working on the family farm and later pursued blacksmithing before returning to agriculture. He married Mary E. Taylor and expanded his farm, raising seven children. Ford is active in local Masonic and Knights of Pythias organizations and is politically affiliated with the Progressive party.
