George Edward Bates, brother-in-law to Mrs. Leta Bates, Ellensburg, died July 4 [1969] in Coeur d’Alene, Ida.
A resident of Spokane for the last 40 years, he is also survived by his wife, Mabel Bates; 3 sisters, Mrs. Joy Gage, Mrs. Murrel Baird both of Yakima; and Mrs. Ruth Cole, Long Beach, Calif.
