Ethel Ellen Rowe, 94, of Bellevue, Wash., died at Overlake Hospital Medical Center on Nov. 16, 2006.
Mrs. Rowe was born on Jan. 19, 1912, in Long Creek, Ore., the daughter of Lee and Hazel Beeney. She was raised in Oregon and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Missoula, Mont.
She married William C. Rowe on Feb. 7, 1942, in Weiser, Idaho. They lived in Baker, Ore., until 1963 when they moved to Yakima, Wash. In 1989 they moved to Graham before moving to Kirkland in 2002. She was a member of the Rebekuh Lodge. In her leisure time she enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2000.
Survivors include daughters, Luellen Wood, of Puyallup, Marilyn Hull of Sammamish; six grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held Nov. 24, 2006 at Sans Souci Clubhouse in Puyallup, Wash. Her final resting place is at Hillside Cemetery, Issaquah.
