Sent to Paris Island. Transferred to Quantico, then to League Island. Sailed for France April, 1918. Fought at Belleau Woods, Chateau-Thierry. Wounded by shrapnel at the Battle of Belleau Woods June 14th. Sent to Field Hospital No. 23, at Chaumont. Mustered out at Norfolk, Va., Dec. 12, 1919.
