William H. Nellans, 84, well-known farmer, residing three miles southeast of Fulton, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday after an illness of four years. He had been a resident of Fulton county his entire life. Mr. Nellans was born Sept. 10, 1869, to Absolem and Mahala Nellans. His first marriage was on Nov. 25, 1892, to Mary Patton. She died in 1909. On Nov. 18, 1936 he was married to Ada Martindale, who survives. Mr. Nellans was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Survivors include the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Berniece Waite of Greenville, PA; Mrs. Louise Bochanyin of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Myra English of Mason, Mich. and Mrs. Ruth Weaver of Rochester; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Ditmire Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leonard Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
