Arendahronon Tribe
The Arendahronon, also known as the Rock people, were one of the four primary tribes of the Huron, located in the eastern region. They became the first allies of the French, who established several missions among them in the early 17th century. By 1649, following the devastation of the Huron by the Iroquois, the Arendahronon surrendered to the Seneca and were integrated into their society, forming what is recognized as the Stone tribe of the Huron.
