Corpl., Field Sig. Corps., Co. 306, Attached to 81st Div.; of Wayne County; son of J. J. and Mrs. Sarah Sasser. Entered service May, 1918, at Goldsboro, N.C. Sent to Camp Jackson, transferred to Camp Sevier, then to Camp Mills. Sailed for France July 31, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. April, 1919. Fought at Vosges Mtns., Meuse-Argonne and other engagements. Returned to USA June 29, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson July, 1919.

Sasser, Myrna Karleen – Obituary

Myrna Karleen Sasser, 70, formerly of Wallowa County, died Aug. 6 at her home in Idaho. Burial will be at the Enterprise Cemetery. Summers Funeral Homes of Boise is in charge of arrangements. Miss Sasser was born Jan. 28, 1936, to Foy A. and Edna Byrle Sturm Sasser near Enterprise. She graduated from high school in New Plymouth, Idaho, and attended Nampa Business College. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Dies At Home John Wesley Sasser, a retired farmer, passed away at his home in Enterprise Tuesday, March 14, 1967, following several years of ill health. Funeral services will be held at the Bollman Chapel with Rev. Lester Wells officiating, and internment will be in the Enterprise cemetery. Time of the services are pending.
