Funeral services for Edward O. Neill, who died at St. Anthony’s hospital in Pendleton Sunday, were held Tuesday with Interment in the Heppner, Masonic cemetery. Mr. Neill was born February 19, 1881 at Hartville, Mo., and came west as a young man. For many years he operated a sheep ranch in the Butter Creek section and at the time of his death he was a guard at the Hermiston ordnance depot.
