Mardin

Israel G. Mardin, one of Allenstown’s most able and successful farmers, was born in this town, January 9, 1826. His parents, Israel and Rachel (Ham) Mardin, were natives respectively of Allenstown and Epsom, N.H. The paternal grandfather, Israel Mardin (first), a native of Portsmouth, N.H., settled in Allenstown, and here carried on a good farm until his death, which occurred when he was forty years old.
