Biographical Sketch of Frank C. Manak

Manak, Frank C.; lawyer; born, Milvesko, Bohemia, Jan. 11, 1872; came to Cleveland in 1875; educated, public schools, Cleveland, and Western Reserve Law School; admitted to the bar and began practice in Cleveland in 1894, with Benjamin C. Starr until 1901; until 1903, asst. police prosecutor, when he entered the present firm of Vessy, Davis & Manak; appointed chief asst. state fire marshal; organized the Veela Building & Loan Ass’n in 1896, and it now has a subscribed capital stock of over $1,500.000; member B. P. O. E. and Knights of Pythias; Republican.
